Amore Trattoria

Amore Trattoria Italiana is an Italian trattoria on Alpine Avenue in Alpine Township, serving homemade, locally sourced Italian comfort food built on family recipes and time spent cooking in Northern Italy. The menu follows traditional and regional Italian cooking, with dishes like gnocchi and bread made from scratch. A separate vegan and gluten-free menu is available, and the wine list is made up of Italian imports along with homemade Italian liqueurs and cocktails.

Reservations are taken only by phone, up to a month in advance, Tuesday through Saturday evenings, and the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. The private dining room seats groups up to 35 and suits rehearsal dinners and private parties, and gift cards are sold on the website. The restaurant opened in July 2010 and has been recognized in several local best-of lists by Grand Rapids publications.
