Doggie Don's Pet Center

Doggie Don's Pet Center is a neighborhood pet store that covers a lot of ground: tropical fish and aquarium setups, reptiles and their supplies, premium pet food, hay and farm feed, pond supplies, grooming and boarding. The aquarium side is a highlight, with freshwater tropicals hand-picked by the staff, live plants, filters, heaters and lighting. Grooming is done by Don, a multi-time champion groomer.

The shop is on Laurel Road in East Northport, with free parking out front. Walk-ins are welcome for questions and supplies, and grooming is booked by appointment. Boarding is offered for pets while their owners are traveling. The business has been family-run for more than 40 years and is one of the older pet stores on Long Island.
