Columbus Reading Rock

Reading Rock sells and installs gas, electric and wood-burning fireplaces, along with gas, electric and wood-burning stoves. It also offers inserts that upgrade an existing masonry fireplace. The family-owned business has been in operation since 1947 and describes itself as a manufacturer and supplier of building materials with experience in construction-related work across Central Ohio.

Customers can request a free, no-obligation estimate, and the staff helps with fireplace type, placement, size and style, including whether a home needs a gas line, an electrical outlet or venting. The team also covers smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector safety. There are showrooms in Columbus and Newark, and the company schedules installation for fireplaces purchased from them.
