Günter Hans

Günter Hans is a bar in Columbia known for its German-style bretzels, baked fresh to order and served with gourmet dips such as mustard, cinnamon butter, Boursin cheese and jam. Liège waffles are made with Belgian pearl sugar and come with one topping included. The cocktail and shot menus are long, with house specialties like the Morganball and a Pineapple Upside Down Cake shot.

Reservations are available through the website, and the bar hosts private events and sells gift cards. Guests can bring in outside food to eat with a drink. The bar is on Hitt Street, right across from RagTag Cinema and directly behind Wynnsome, so it can be hard to find on a GPS.
