Wildflower Breastfeeding Services

Wildflower Breastfeeding Services is a lactation practice run by Lauren Pilger, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Lauren works with nursing mothers on complex breastfeeding situations, including latch and positioning problems, milk supply concerns and oral restrictions such as tongue tie and lip tie. Sessions cover pump setup and flange sizing as well as written care plans for the next few days or weeks.

Support is offered one-on-one, through home visits, in classes and in group settings. Home and office visits include a physical check of the baby and weighing before and after a feed. Lauren can also refer families to specialists such as pediatric dentists, cranio-sacral therapists or chiropractors when needed. The practice serves the Colorado Springs area, with its office on Lehman Drive.
