Tierra Plan

Tierra Plan builds web maps and data tools for planning and public communication, mostly for government agencies, water utilities and planning groups. Its work includes water data portals that bring utility information together in one place, interactive websites and exhibits built around maps, and story tours that let visitors explore an area through its data. The company is also an Esri business partner, so it can build on ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server and Esri's programming tools.

Projects begin with a rough idea or sketch and move forward through close coordination, with regular reviews and testing along the way. Some clients have kept the team on after launch to expand features and keep their sites running. The firm is based in Colorado Springs and has been working since 2009.
