The Sound Shop

The Sound Shop sells and installs home audio and video equipment, including custom home theaters, hi-fi audio systems and integrated smart control systems. It also installs security systems such as surveillance cameras and alarms, repairs and upgrades audio and video gear including vintage models, and sells used and consignment equipment that has been inspected and tested. The shop has been in Colorado Springs since 1964.

Free in-home consultations include system design, with the team looking at room layout, acoustics, lighting and wiring before recommending equipment. Installations are done by the shop's own staff rather than subcontractors, and the work carries a one-year installation labor warranty plus a 30-day service warranty. Customers can audition speakers and other equipment in the showroom and demo rooms, and financing is available. Calling ahead is recommended for appointments outside regular hours.
