Research-based ABA therapy and social skills for children with disabilities6050 Erin Park Drive, Colorado Springs, CO

PlayDate Behavioral Interventions is a nonprofit that provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy and related support for children with autism, other developmental disabilities and special needs. Services include one-on-one ABA therapy for children from birth to 18, group social skills classes, respite-level therapeutic care, community connector and pediatric personal care, and educational support such as extended school year help, school consulting and training for professionals.
The practice was started in 2007 by a board certified behavior analyst and now works with about 60 children, keeping its caseload small. Its team includes ABA therapists, RBTs, BCaBAs, BCBAs and speech-language pathologists, and it can accommodate needs such as AAC devices, PECS, special diets, feeding concerns and medication needs. Families can schedule a consultation to talk through next steps. The office is at Erin Park Drive in Colorado Springs, and scholarships are available for families who have exhausted other funding sources.
