Dog Training Laurie's Way

Dog Training Laurie's Way is run by Laurie Yakish, a Colorado Springs dog trainer who works on biting, jumping up, housebreaking, separation anxiety, leash reactivity and aggression. Her method mixes consequences and rewards, a balanced approach she learned through mentorship with Gary Wilkes, and she also trains service dogs for the North Star Foundation.

Training takes place where the problem happens, whether at home, in the yard, on walks, at the park, in the car, or at the vet or kennel. A free phone consultation comes before any booking. The service area covers the Pikes Peak region, including Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Woodland Park and Castle Rock.
