1st Drive LLC

1st Drive is a driving school in Colorado Springs that teaches new drivers through online and in-class courses, teen driving lessons, and drive and permit testing. It offers the state-required 30-hour driver education course, a 4-hour driver awareness course for applicants aged 18 to 21, and a 4-hour EDAP class.

Classes are capped at 32 students, and in-class, online, and behind-the-wheel training can be scheduled around a family's needs. Students who finish the 30-hour class or the online program get a free permit test, and a parent orientation walks families through the steps to a Colorado permit or license. The office is at Lehman Drive in the Colorado Springs area, and office hours are weekday mornings and afternoons with a half day on Saturday. Drive tests are not offered when roads are icy or snow packed.
