EA Engineering, Science, and Technology is a 100% employee-owned public benefit corporation providing environmental, compliance, natural resources, and infrastructure engineering and management services. The firm was founded in 1973 as Ecological Analysts, Inc., when its original staff of fisheries biologists helped electrical utilities meet new environmental regulations. It has since grown into a broad environmental science and engineering practice serving federal and state agencies, municipalities, private industry, and nonprofits.

Work includes contaminant and emerging-contaminant questions such as PFOS and PFOA, coastal resilience planning, climate change, sediment management, munitions response, and laboratory testing through its ecotoxicology and EnviTreat labs. Clients come to EA for projects that need engineering, science, and technology worked together. The headquarters is at 225 Schilling Circle in Hunt Valley, and engineering services in Michigan, New York, and North Carolina are performed by affiliated entities.
