Rock and Roll Charters

Rock and Roll Charters is a full-time charter boat company run by Captain TJ Karbowski, targeting striped bass, bluefish, blackfish, fluke, porgies and black sea bass on Long Island Sound. Trips fish the reefs and rock piles around Six-Mile Reef, South West Reef and East Rip, and the boat is a 41-foot Hatteras with twin diesel engines, two fighting chairs and heat and air conditioning. The crew takes both novice and expert anglers, including children and seniors.

Trips run morning and afternoon, seven days a week from mid-May through November, and the fishing grounds are about 15 minutes from the dock. Bookings are made by phone, text, email or online, and a $100 deposit holds a reservation. The boat is docked at Cedar Island Marina in Clinton, next to Hammonassett State Park and about five minutes off I-95. Anglers fish both Connecticut and New York waters and follow the rules for each.
