Capital Transmission Service

Capital Transmission Service is a family-owned shop that has focused on transmission, clutch and differential work since 1985. Its ATRA-certified technicians handle transmission reseals, partial repairs, full rebuilds and major differential rebuilds, and the shop also does cooling system repair and auto air conditioning service. It stocks transmission filters, gaskets and seals for many domestic and foreign makes.

Free estimates and free road tests are offered, and transmission maintenance is by appointment. Customers can call to ask questions or schedule a drop-off, and emergency service is available. Rebuilt transmissions and major differential rebuilds carry a 36-month nationwide warranty. Simple repairs can often be finished while you wait in the customer lounge, which has high-speed internet. The shop is on San Juan Avenue in Citrus Heights, near Greenback Lane.
