South Cheyenne Water and Sewer District

South Cheyenne Water and Sewer District is a special district that supplies water and sewer service to roughly 10,000 residents in the south part of Cheyenne. It was established in 1960 and is described as the largest water and sewer special district in Wyoming. The district buys its water from the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities, which also treats the district's sewage. A five-member board elected by district residents governs it.

The district office is at 215 East Allison Road in Cheyenne. The lobby is open to customers by appointment only, while the drive-through serves all customers during weekday business hours, 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Payment is by cash, check or money order only, with no debit or credit cards accepted at the office. The district also keeps an after-hours line for emergencies. Board meetings are held at the office on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM.
