Farmer in the Deli

Farmer in the Deli is a fresh produce market and deli in Chesterland, Ohio, known for made-to-order sandwiches on freshly baked Italian rolls, with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. The menu includes roast beef, turkey, chicken breast, ham, chicken and tuna salad, and a veggie option, plus build-your-own sandwiches. Party trays of sandwiches, deli meats, fruit and vegetables are sold by the tray, along with olive salads, pasta salads and house-made pepperoni bread and stromboli.

Owner Frank Spoto opened the shop in 2005 after years in restaurants, and the store carries fresh produce alongside cured meats, cheeses and specialty items, both imported and house-made. Orders can be placed online for pickup. The shop is closed on Tuesdays, open 9 to 5 most other days and 10 to 3 on Sundays.
