Forest Hills Country Club is a private club in Clarkson Valley, in the greater Chesterfield area west of St. Louis, that opened its clubhouse and 18-hole course called The Championship in December 1964. The course was later refined by designers Dick Nugent and Keith Foster, and its greens were re-seeded in 2011 and its bunkers renovated in the winter of 2017-18. The club also has a 9-hole executive course called The Valley, which serves as the starting point for its junior golf program.
Membership is the main way in, and the club describes itself as a family-oriented place where long friendships form. Its social and event calendars run year-round for members. Forest Hills has hosted several qualifying rounds and regional events, including US Open and US Amateur qualifiers, and its early golf professional, Dutch Harrison, was a Ryder Cup player.
