The Lace Factory

The Lace Factory is a wedding and event venue in a historic brick building on the Connecticut River, hosting weddings, corporate events and private parties. The building was constructed in the late 1800s as part of a shipyard, and its brick chimney still stands as a landmark of the town's industrial past. The venue offers multiple ceremony sites.

Guests can spend time in the riverside park, use the boat launch and take in views across from Deep River Landing. Couples can also arrange for guests to arrive by vintage railcar with the Essex Steam Train, which the venue partners with. Prospective clients can schedule a private tour, and the venue keeps a list of preferred vendors. It is easily reached from Route 9 and Interstates 95 and 91, and sits roughly between New York and Boston.
