Austin Electric

Austin Electric is a commercial and industrial electrical contractor serving the Tidewater area. Its work covers electrical installations, underground utility systems, hazardous location installations, emergency and backup power systems, alarm and security systems, and communication and data cabling. The company works on industrial facilities, malls and retail complexes, office buildings, government and military installations, recreation facilities, and port and transportation facilities.

Austin Electric takes on projects as either a subcontractor or a direct contractor for the owner. It is based in Chesapeake, Virginia, and the company's site invites prospective clients to request a quote or bid for commercial-rated work. Its focus is on complex, non-residential projects rather than home electrical repairs.
