Sea-lect Seafood

Sea-lect Seafood is a full-service retail seafood shop in Maple Shade that has been supplying southern New Jersey for over 40 years. Fresh and frozen fish and shellfish are sold for takeout or to prepare at home, along with side dishes. The shop is best known for its homemade soups and chowders, and at least six are typically on offer on any given day.

The store is run by George Gladden, who bought the business in 2005 from founder Jim Liberi. Sea-lect is open Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and is closed on Mondays. Last orders are taken about 45 minutes before closing. Daily specials are posted on the shop's Facebook page, and the store is at 300 West Main Street.
