Chelsea Depot

The Chelsea Depot is a historic train depot in Chelsea that the Chelsea Depot Association rents out as an event venue for parties, weddings, memorials, receptions and showers. The building is operated as a non-profit, and the rooms have been refreshed recently with new carpet, flooring, restrooms, fresh paint, matching padded chairs and a new roof.

Rentals are arranged by email through the depot's rental agent, and the building has free WiFi, a large projector screen, a Bluetooth sound system with a microphone, and a TV on a cart for an extra fee. A kitchen with a prep table and granite counter is available. Concerts of the On the Tracks songwriter showcase are held there on the first Wednesday of most months. The depot sits on Jackson Street, and the association notes that phone messages may take a while to be returned, so email is the faster route.
