The Cowboy Palace Saloon is a country music bar with live bands Wednesday through Sunday nights. The focus is on Southern California country acts, and there are pool tables for a few games between sets. The bartenders mix cocktails, and a daily happy hour in the late afternoon and early evening suits people stopping in after work.
The bar is 21 and over. The cover charge is $5 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and $10 on Friday and Saturday, which includes lessons. Party reservations are no longer taken, so groups hold tables by arriving when the bar opens that day and staying on site. The bar is on Devonshire Street in Chatsworth.
