Woodie's Auto Service & Repair Centers has been working on cars in the Charlotte area since 1963, when Ernest Woodie opened a single service station on Independence Boulevard. The family-owned business now runs more than 20 tire and auto repair shops across North and South Carolina. Its ASE-certified technicians handle brake repair, oil changes, engine and computer diagnostics, fluid exchanges, fleet service and tire sales on all makes and models.

Appointments can be booked online, and same-day service is offered. Every service includes a complimentary 28-point digital vehicle inspection, and repairs carry a nationwide warranty covering parts and labor for 36 months or 36,000 miles. Waiting rooms have free Wi-Fi and snacks, and each location offers a complimentary shuttle. The Midtown shop on South McDowell Street in Charlotte is open on weekdays.
