Artisan Shutter

Artisan Shutter is a wholesale manufacturer of plantation shutters, built in Monroe, North Carolina, and sold through local window treatment dealers and showrooms rather than directly to homeowners. The company makes basswood shutters, poly vinyl shutters for bathrooms and showers, arch-top shutters cut on CNC machinery, and shutters with an optional hidden rear tilt. Louver sizes, frame styles, stock and custom colors, and matching hinge hardware are all available.

Homeowners who want to see the shutters in person can visit a showroom, and the company points customers to A Shade Above, a sister company, with locations in Charlotte and Cornelius. Founded in 1993 by brothers Dalton and Jeff Taylor, the business offers a limited lifetime warranty on craftsmanship, durability and paint finish. Retail and repair inquiries are handled through a separate contact route.
