Alexander Youth Network

Alexander Youth Network provides mental and behavioral health care for children and adolescents, with roots going back to 1946. Its programs include outpatient therapy, residential treatment, therapeutic foster care, day treatment, intensive home care, multi-systemic therapy, and facility-based crisis care. Common concerns it treats include ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and oppositional defiant disorder, using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.

Families can start with intake and admissions or a referral call, and crisis help is available around the clock. The group runs programs in Charlotte and surrounding counties and serves families across North Carolina, reaching more than 9,000 children and families last year. Alexander is accredited by The Joint Commission, and a 48-bed residential treatment center is under development in Greensboro.
