Schewels Home

Schewels Home is a furniture and home furnishings retailer with roots going back to 1897, when founder Elias Schewel began selling chairs door to door in Lynchburg, Virginia. The store carries living room, bedroom, dining, home office and outdoor furniture, along with mattresses, appliances, electronics and lawn and garden equipment. Upholstery can be customized with fabric and feature choices.

The company offers its own financing and lease-to-own options, and it has a six-month in-home mattress trial. The Charles Town showroom is at 60 Somerset Boulevard in West Virginia, and the chain has showrooms across Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia.
