Green Corner Restaurant

Green Corner Restaurant serves Levantine-style Mediterranean food, with kebabs, gyro and chicken shawarma on the menu alongside specialties like kibbeh, bulgur-beef croquettes, and knafeh, a syrup-soaked cheese pastry baked in large sheet pans. Chef-owner Ebrahim Takkem draws on traditions from Lebanon, Jordan and Syria, and the restaurant chops its vegetables fresh each day and slow cooks its meats.

The setup is fast-casual: you order at the counter, then sit at a table or in a window seat. The open kitchen lets you watch the meats being shaved. Portions are generous, and every meal ends with a complimentary piece of homemade baklava. There is outdoor seating, and the restaurant also offers catering. The Chandler location is on W. Queen Creek Road, with other locations in Mesa, Scottsdale and Tempe.
