Meadowview Golf & Country Club

Meadowview Golf & Country Club is a nine-hole public course just east of Central City, Iowa. Mature trees and four ponds make the layout challenging, and the bent grass greens are well kept. Many locals come out for a relaxed nine holes followed by a cold drink in the clubhouse on a summer day.

Tee times are not taken, so golfers simply arrive and play. Weekday green fees are $20 for nine or 18 holes, and weekend and holiday 18-hole rounds are $30. Carts can be rented, and cart sheds fill up quickly, so it helps to call the clubhouse ahead. Tuesday mornings and evenings and Thursday midday are reserved for league play, so check before heading out on those days. Single and family memberships are available.
