Pough Interiors

Pough Interiors is a home design center offering interior design services, from a single-room color scheme or furniture update to a complete stylistic renovation. It also carries Hunter Douglas window treatments, and it helps with smaller projects such as new accessories for a room that needs freshening up.

Designers sit down with clients to build a master plan, then set up vignettes in the design area so clients can visualize changes before anything is installed. The shop is at 8 Main Street in Essex, on the Connecticut shoreline near Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Madison. Hours run Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday hours in the afternoon that are closed January through April. Mondays are by appointment or chance, and Wednesday visits are by appointment.
