Up In Smoke BBQ

Up In Smoke BBQ is a father-son barbecue restaurant serving smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs and wings, with in-house sauces and rubs. The menu includes footlong hot dogs with specialty toppings, nachos, cheesesteaks and a range of hot and cold sides like mac and cheese, cheesy potatoes, smoked baked beans and cornbread. Dad runs the grill and smoker while the son runs the kitchen. Sauces are sold by the pint, quart or gallon.

The restaurant takes orders by phone and offers delivery. It also does catering for lunches, weddings and other events, with buffet-style service available on site. Family-style trays and meal samplers are offered for groups. The restaurant is at 92 16th Avenue Southwest in Cedar Rapids.
