The Hotel at Kirkwood Center

The Hotel at Kirkwood Center is a hotel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, best known for The Class Act Restaurant, a fine dining room serving breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. Its menus feature seasonal ingredients from the area, paired with an extensive cocktail and wine list sold by the bottle or glass. The hotel also hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners and meetings.

The Class Act doubles as a teaching restaurant for Kirkwood's Culinary Arts program, so servers walk guests through where and how the ingredients appear on the menu. Tables can be booked online or by phone. The patio serves lunch, happy hour and dinner, and walk-ins are welcome there. Private dining rooms suit birthdays and graduations, and take-home family dinners that serve four can be ordered by phone.
