Jake’s Country Meats

Jake's Country Meats is a family farm in southwest Michigan that raises pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, poultry and eggs, then sells the meat as cuts, bundles and charcuterie. The animals are raised without antibiotics, the pork comes from Duroc-Berkshire hogs, and the feed is non-GMO grain the farm grows and grinds itself. Smoked chops, bacon, brats and spicy Italian sausage are among the products customers mention most.

Orders can be shipped nationwide, or picked up at the on-farm store on Decatur Road in Cassopolis, at farmers markets in Chicagoland and St. Joseph, or at farm stands and drop-off points. The farm also offers a Meat Club subscription with 5% off, and it has opened a retail store in Dowagiac. Half hogs can be ordered and cut at home.
