The Cary ReStore is a retail store run by Habitat for Humanity Greater Raleigh that sells gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, home decor, hardware and household items. Stock changes daily based on what donations arrive at the back dock, and merchandise is marked down every two weeks. Brand-new cabinets and light fixtures are also part of the mix, and the store opened in 2011 as the second ReStore in Wake County.
The store is open to the public Monday through Saturday, and it is closed on Sundays. The donation dock closes 30 minutes before the store does on weekdays and one hour before close on Saturdays, so plan donation drop-offs accordingly. A cabinet showroom on site has staff who can help with kitchen and bath renovations, and pickups of donated items can be scheduled. The store is at 181 High House Road in Cary.
