The Anthracite Center

The Anthracite Center is a historic event venue in Carbondale, housed in a building originally constructed in 1928 as the First National Bank of Carbondale. The mid-century gothic inspired structure is described as the oldest and most iconic building on Main Street, and the interior keeps much of its historic character for weddings, milestone celebrations and large events.

The center also rents commercial office space with several amenities inside the same building. Couples and event planners can take a virtual tour or schedule an in-person tour before booking. The building is at 41 North Main Street in Carbondale.
