Foxy Golf

Foxy Golf is a golf shop with two stores, one in Canton and one in Akron, selling clubs, apparel, shoes, gloves, headwear, putters, bags, carts and accessories. The shops also offer custom club fittings, club repairs, swing lessons and a launch monitor calendar for hitting sessions.

The business started in 1972 when Dan Verklas began refinishing wood-headed clubs out of his garage in Wadsworth. Joe Durkin bought the business in 1993 and opened the Canton store in 2002. The Canton location is at 4712 Everhard Road Northwest, and the Akron store is on West Turkeyfoot Lake Road. Advice from the staff is free.
