Canandaigua Sailboard

Canandaigua Sailboard rents stand up paddleboards, kayaks and surf demo boards, and offers private lessons, wakesurf and kayak charters, and kids' camps on Canandaigua Lake. The shop opened in 1982 as a windsurf rental and lesson shop and later expanded into kayaking, paddle boarding and other watersports. Since 2020 it has been part of the Neon Wave family of brands, and the site lists a wide range of surf, paddle and outdoor gear brands.

Rentals and lessons are booked online, and the shop also offers delivery of kayaks and paddleboards to lake house rentals. Private parties and charters aboard a Mastercraft X24 are available. The shop is at 11 Lakeshore Drive in Canandaigua, on the north end of the lake. The website currently shows the business as closed for the season, so check before planning a visit.
