Blueprint K9

Blueprint K9 is a dog training business that works on obedience, leash handling, and behavior problems such as reactivity, pulling, and fear. Its core offerings are private one-hour lessons and a board and train program for dogs six months and older, where the dog lives with a professional trainer. Packages of four, six, and eight lessons are also offered, with the eight-lesson package aimed at dogs with reactivity or aggression.

Private lessons take place in the owner's home or in public settings, usually once a week. Board and train stays are a longer commitment for owners who want the dog trained away from home. Customers report that the trainer also coaches owners on routines and boundaries. The business is at 5755 Smith Rd. in Canandaigua, and it is closed on Mondays.
