Craft beer and rustic taproom in a historic rail substation37 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, OH

Loose Rail Brewing is a microbrewery in the Historic District of Canal Winchester, Ohio, housed in what was once an 1880s power substation for the interurban railroad. The rustic taproom pours its own craft beers, including lagers, IPAs and a Watermelon Shandy, alongside a menu of pizza, cheese fries and sandwiches. Food trucks such as Sophies Pierogi visit on some evenings.
Tables can be reserved online, and the brewery takes online orders for pickup or delivery. It also hosts private parties, holiday parties and catering for events, and has a heated outdoor space. Guests must be 21 or older to enter, according to the sign-in question on the site, so plan on adults-only visits. The brewery is at 37 West Waterloo Street.
