Bocca Grande Italian Steakhouse

Bocca Grande Italian Steakhouse serves prime steaks alongside classic Italian dishes, with the baked lasagna, barbecue ribs and filet mignon among the house favorites. The menu runs from appetizers like mussels and shrimp cocktail through pasta, chicken, seafood and sandwiches, with homemade soups and desserts such as tiramisu and Italian cheesecake. The family has run the restaurant since 1991, and the name comes from a family nickname that grew out of the owner's grandmother's cooking.

Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, and the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. Weekend reservations are recommended. The full-service patio overlooks garden views along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath and is open weather permitting. The Farmhouse private dining room seats 20 to 30 guests for showers, rehearsal dinners and business events, and takeout is available from the dinner menu by phone.
