About Woodland Golf Club

The story

Woodland Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course in Cable, Ohio, open to both public and semi-private golfers. Designed by Columbus-based PGA professional Jack Kidwell, the course opened its first nine holes in 1972 and was completed by 1974, with rolling fairways and natural water features. Over the decades it has been a home for league nights, weekend rounds and family traditions.

The club also runs a golf academy with lessons, junior camps and a pro shop that is open seven days a week during the season, during playable hours. Woodland hosts outings and events and has a restaurant on site called The Woods. The property returned to Woodruff family ownership in 2021, and the club is part of the Woodruff family's business group.
