Armada Technologies

Armada Technologies makes underground cable and wire locating equipment for technicians, including wire and valve locators, cable locators, fault locators, irrigation testers, multimeters and tone and probe kits. Its Pro881 digital cable locator is built to trace irrigation, CATV, electrical, telephone and landscape lighting lines, and the company says it is independently owned and has been in business since 2004.

The products are sold through a network of irrigation, lighting and electrical distributors rather than directly to the public, so anyone looking for a unit can use the company's distributor finder or contact one of its independent sales reps. Repairs are handled by mail: the company's office, in Byron Center, gives a repair number by phone, and devices are sent in with the RMA number on the box. Phone support is available Monday through Friday during business hours.
