Velorangutan

Velorangutan is a bike shop that builds custom high-end bicycles, with brands such as Ibis, Scott, Revel, Orbea, Nukeproof and Devinci. Customers can choose each component of a bike built from the ground up, and the shop also repairs and services all kinds of bikes, from vintage models to mountain, road, gravel, track, BMX and beach cruisers. Helmet fitting and Shimano cycling shoes are also available.

The shop is in Manchaca, Texas, and works by appointment only in store, though customers can email or call. Visitors can try demo bikes for free, and the shop also sells motorcycle gear on the other side of the store. Its sister store, Motorangutan, operates from the same location.
