Via Bellissima

Via Bellissima is a boutique in Bryn Mawr known for colorful, dramatic ceramics from Tuscany and Umbria. Founder Susan Arizini, formerly of Harper's Bazaar, opened the store in 1997 and travels to Italy to buy directly from local merchants. The hand-painted pieces, some of which trace their craft back to Medieval and Renaissance times, sit alongside furniture, lighting, handicrafts and gifts.

Custom dinnerware can be designed to suit a particular look, and the shop also handles bridal registries, which are by appointment. Shop hours run Monday through Saturday, with a shorter winter schedule from January through March and holiday hours on Sundays. The store is on West Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr.
