The Great Impasta

The Great Impasta is a locally owned Italian restaurant that has served Brunswick since 1984. Its menu covers classics such as lasagna, scampi, carbonara, seared scallops and handmade meatballs, along with steak medallions and a range of vegan and gluten-free dishes. Homemade sauces and from-scratch desserts are a point of pride, and the kitchen will try to accommodate requests for dishes not on the menu.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and is closed Sundays. It operates a call-ahead system for seating: phone ahead on the day you plan to visit and your party is placed on a waitlist that usually seats within about fifteen minutes of arrival. Party pick-up catering is available with hot or cold options, including lasagna, chicken parmesan and garlic knots. The restaurant is certified as a three-star green restaurant and has a family-friendly, casual setting.
