Boutique hotel and restaurant in a historic Brunswick home10 Water Street, Brunswick, ME

The Federal is a boutique hotel and restaurant set in a reimagined 19th-century historic home and inn. Its guest rooms pair vintage furniture with modern amenities, and the Federal House wing was once the home of Captain Daniel Stone and his daughter Narcissa, prominent businesswomen in Brunswick. The 555 North restaurant, run by chef Steve Corry and his wife Michelle, serves locally sourced New England food with fresh seafood and seasonal menus.
Guests can book one of the two suites or four guest rooms in the Federal House, or stay in the East Wing rooms. Dinner service runs Wednesday through Sunday evenings, with the bar staying open later, and the restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Gift cards are available. The hotel is in downtown Brunswick, within easy reach of Freeport and Portland.
