Taverna Khione

Taverna Khione is an authentic Greek taverna serving traditional Greek fare, with a menu built around ingredients available locally and seasonally. The wine list is one of the largest all-Greek wine lists in the United States, focusing on organic, natural and biodynamic bottles, and the restaurant also offers Greek liquors and beer.

The dining room is small and seats 24, so evenings fill up quickly during prime times. Reservations are taken by phone, not email, and parties larger than four cannot be booked online or by reservation, so larger groups should call about private events. Credit card numbers are required to hold a reservation, and cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows carry a $35 per person charge. High chairs and strollers are not permitted in the dining room. The restaurant is at 25 Mill Street in Brunswick, Maine, and is locally owned and operated by Marc Provencher.
