Brunswick Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course with origins dating to 1898, when Bowdoin College students first played on the grounds. Its back nine was laid out in the early 1920s and the front nine was added in 1969, with the par-5 9th hole over water and the challenging par-4 6th among the holes golfers talk about most. The club welcomes members and the public, with tee times booked online and golf carts available. It also has a dining and banquet facility for events of all sizes. The course sits just off I-295 and US Route 1 in Brunswick, and it has hosted several Maine amateur championships and the 2024 NESCAC Conference Championship.
