Diverse Environmental Landscapes

Diverse Environmental Landscapes, or DEL, designs, builds and maintains landscapes using ecological methods. The company is known for native plantings, rain gardens and drainage solutions that manage runoff, along with habitat restoration work to push back invasive species. DEL was founded in 2015 by Paul Rischmiller and named after his grandfather. Its projects also include hardscapes, custom woodworking and commercial landscaping.

DEL works with homeowners and commercial property owners across southeast Wisconsin, with recent projects in Brookfield, Waukesha, Milwaukee and many nearby suburbs. Most of its work comes through referrals and repeat clients. Paul walks each property and identifies the plants on it before suggesting changes, and the company also offers property maintenance so clients can spend their weekends elsewhere. It is a locally owned business.
