J.E. Miller Construction

J.E. Miller Construction is a family-owned general contractor and home builder that handles new custom homes, house additions, finished basements and kitchen and bath remodels. Jim Miller started the company in 1995, and his son Adam joined him full time in 2003. The firm also takes on light commercial work such as office and retail buildings, and it does historic restoration, including roof replacement, stonework and wall stabilization.

The owners say they are on site full time, supervising and doing the work themselves from excavation through framing and trim, and they work alongside subcontractors on electrical and plumbing. Projects are built from the client's own plans or designed as green homes. The company serves Warrenton and Fauquier County from its base in Broad Run, along with Gainesville, Haymarket, Middleburg and parts of Northern Virginia.
