Window repair and restoration for double-hung wood windowsBrighton, MA
Window Working repairs old and replacement windows in Boston rather than replacing them. The business focuses on double-hung wood windows and handles problems like sticking sashes, falling windows and fogged double-pane glass. Common repairs include window balances, shoes, pins, crank arms and glass replacement.
The owner, Greg, starts with a free estimate, which involves taking one window apart to find the problem, after which photos go to a parts supplier and the repair is scheduled once parts arrive. Calls and texts are the way to schedule. The business also offers handyman work and is insured.
