Wonderland Of Ice

Wonderland Of Ice is a city-owned rink in Bridgeport that opened in 1967 with a single sheet of ice. A 2007 project added a second NHL-sized rink and a curling facility. The rink hosts figure skating, hockey, and curling, and it is home to the Bridgeport Skating Club and several high school and college hockey teams.

Public skating runs on weekday late mornings and early afternoons, with weekend sessions in the afternoon and evening, and skate rentals are available for a small fee. Youth and adult hockey leagues play here, and a summer league draws NHL and Division I players from the Northeast. Registration is handled by phone rather than online. A pro shop and snack bar are on site, and a restaurant and bar are planned for later.
